Some practical examples of what you can expect on the voyages:

We learn how to orient ourselves and plot actual routes on nautical charts (both digital and paper).

We all cook, clean and keep things tidy.

We take watches and stand at the helm of a 42-foot ketch-rigged sailing boat.

As active crew members, we are involved in decision-making processes on a daily basis.

We collaborate with colleagues from different countries and cultures.

We explore new places, practise languages and hear new stories first-hand.

This short form is the first step in our application process.

We will get in touch with you to help you with the additional formalities. (The registration process is quite straightforward.) We will be happy to assist you with any queries you may have, as well as with everything you need for the trip, including how to get to the port, transport, etc.

Once your application has been accepted, a deposit of €1000 will secure your place until 1 June 2026. Only full payment guarantees your place after the deadline of 15 June 2026.

Applicants (and their parents) registering for the first time will be required to attend a video interview (via FaceTime or Zoom) with the programme coordinators.
